Itinerary

DAY 1

Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Trek Starting Point

Pick-up from Paro International Airport and transfer to the trek starting point.
Short acclimatization walk around the area to help adjust to the altitude.
Overnight stay in a local guesthouse or lodge

DAY 2

.Day 2: Trek from Paro to Rupang Valley (13 km / 5-6 hrs)

Start the trek with an ascent through dense forests of pine and rhododendron. Continue the uphill journey, passing through quaint Bhutanese villages and traditional homes. Reach Rupang Valley, known for its untouched natural beauty and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the valley and overnight camping or in a homestay.

DAY 3

Day 3: Explore Rupang Valley & Surroundings

Spend the day exploring the beauty of Rupang Valley, including the opportunity to meet local farmers and witness traditional Bhutanese culture. Visit the nearby monasteries, learn about Buddhist practices, and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas. You can also opt for a short trek to nearby ridgelines or enjoy a nature walk through the valley. Overnight in the valley, either in tents or local accommodations.

DAY 4

Day 4: Trek from Rupang Valley to Paro (15 km / 6 hrs)

Begin the descent back to Paro, passing through scenic trails and lush forests. Enjoy the final views of the beautiful valley before reaching Paro. Drive back to Paro for a short sightseeing tour if time allows, including a visit to Paro Dzong or Kyichu Lhakhang. End of the trek and transfer to the airport for departure.
