DAY 1

Day 1: Arrival in Thimphu

Arrive at Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
Check-in at the hotel and take some time to relax and acclimate to the altitude.
Explore Thimphus highlights, including the National Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, and the giant Buddha statue at Kuensel Phodrang.

DAY 2

Day 2: Thimphu to Punakha

After breakfast, depart for Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, situated in a picturesque valley. En route, stop at Dochula Pass to admire panoramic views of the Himalayas and visit the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang. Continue your journey to Punakha and visit Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful and historically significant fortresses in Bhutan. Explore the Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Fertility Temple, dedicated to the Divine Madman. Overnight stay in Punakha.

DAY 3

Day 3: Punakha to Paro

After breakfast, drive to Paro, a charming town nestled in a verdant valley. Visit the National Museum of Bhutan, housed in the historic Ta Dzong, to learn about Bhutanese art, history, and culture. Explore the picturesque Paro town and browse local handicraft shops for souvenirs. Overnight stay in Paro.

DAY 4

Day 4: Paro Exploration

After breakfast, embark on a hike to the iconic Tigers Nest Monastery (Taktsang Palphug Monastery), one of Bhutans most sacred and breathtaking landmarks.
After the hike, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most revered temples in Bhutan.
In the afternoon, explore the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong and enjoy majestic views of Mount Jomolhari.

Day 5: Departure from Paro
