Itinerary

DAY 1

Day 1: Dehradun to Gangnani (Drive – 180 km / 7–8 hrs)

Early morning pickup from Dehradun
Drive through scenic towns of Uttarkashi and Bhatwari
Arrive at Gangnani (hot spring village), overnight stay in a guesthouse/homestay
Acclimatization and trek briefing

DAY 2

Day 2: Gangnani to Rikoda (Trek – 6 km / 4 hrs)

Trek begins from Bhangeli or Gangnani region Gradual climb through forests and narrow ridges Reach Rikoda, a lush forest campsite Overnight stay in tents

DAY 3

Day 3: Rikoda to Gidara Bugyal (Trek – 7 km / 5–6 hrs)

Steep climb opens into endless alpine meadows Majestic views of Bandarpoonch, Gangotri range, and Draupadi Ka Danda Spend time exploring the vast Bugyal Camp at Gidara Bugyal and enjoy an alpine sunset Overnight in tents

DAY 4

Day 4: Gidara Bugyal to Rikoda (Trek – 7 km / 4 hrs)

Sunrise view over the meadows Descend back to Rikoda campsite Leisure day at camp with forest views Overnight in tents

DAY 5

Day 5: Rikoda to Gangnani – Drive to Dehradun

Final descent to the base village Drive back to Dehradun Reach by evening (approx. 7–8 pm)
