Itinerary

DAY 1

Day 1: Haridwar/Dehradun to Barkot (Approx. 180 km / 6–7 hrs)

Your journey begins with a drive from Haridwar or Dehradun to Barkot, a serene hill town located near Yamunotri. En route, enjoy the scenic views of Mussoorie and Kempty Falls. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest and prepare for the next day's pilgrimage.
Overnight stay in Barkot.

DAY 2

Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (Approx. 36 km drive & 6 km trek one way)

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti, the base point for the Yamunotri trek. Begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri through beautiful forests and rugged trails. Visit the sacred Yamunotri Temple, take a dip in the holy Surya Kund, and perform puja rituals. Return to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay in Barkot.

DAY 3

Day 3: Barkot to Haridwar/Dehradun (Approx. 180 km / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey to Haridwar or Dehradun. En route, relish the scenic beauty of the Himalayas and reminisce about your spiritual experiences. Overnight stay in Haridwar/Dehradun.

DAY 4

Day 4: Departure from Haridwar/Dehradun

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Proceed to your onward destination with divine blessings and cherished memories of the Yamunotri journey.
