Itinerary

DAY 1

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN GUWAHATI – TRANSFER TO SHILLONG

Arrive at Guwahati Airport Railway Station. Meet and greet, then transfer to Shillong. En route, visit Umiam Lake. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY 2

DAY 2: SHILLONG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, explore Shillong. Visit Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Ward Lake, Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park, and Police Bazaar for shopping. Overnight stay in Shillong.

DAY 3

DAY 3: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI – SHNONGPDENG

Post breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Visit the Living Root Bridge and Balancing Rock. Proceed to Dawki to witness the crystal-clear Umngot River and enjoy boating. Continue to Shnongpdeng for overnight stay in riverside camps.

DAY 4

DAY 4: SHNONGPDENG – JOWAI – KRANG SHURI – WARI CHORA

After breakfast, depart for Jowai and visit the stunning Krang Shuri Waterfalls. Continue to Wari Chora. Check-in at homestay or camp. Enjoy evening leisure time by the river. Overnight at Wari Chora.

DAY 5

DAY 5: WARI CHORA BOATING AND EXPLORATION

Today, explore the pristine beauty of Wari Chora. Enjoy boat rides through the narrow gorges, take in the breathtaking scenery, and interact with local villagers. Return to your stay and relax. Overnight stay at Wari Chora.

DAY 6

DAY 6: WARI CHORA – CHERRAPUNJI

Post breakfast, depart for Cherrapunji. En route, enjoy scenic landscapes. On arrival, visit Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, and Mawsmai Cave. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 7

DAY 7: DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE TREK

Early morning, proceed for the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge trek at Nongriat Village. Experience the natural wonder and return by evening. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 8

DAY 8: CHERRAPUNJI – GUWAHATI DEPARTURE

After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati. Drop at Airport Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Meghalaya.
