Itinerary

DAY 1

Day 1: Arrival in Munnar – Gateway to Tea Country

Arrive at Cochin Airport / Ernakulam Railway Station and drive to Munnar (Approx. 4 hrs).
En route, stop at Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls for scenic views.
Visit a tea plantation and tea museum to learn about tea processing.
Check into your hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Munnar.

DAY 2

Day 2: Munnar – Sightseeing & Nature Trails

After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Explore Mattupetty Dam and enjoy a speedboat ride (optional). Visit Echo Point and Kundala Lake, offering picturesque views. Experience the Blossom Hydel Park and the Pothamedu Viewpoint. Spend the evening exploring local markets for tea, spices, and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Munnar.

DAY 3

Day 3: Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary)

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Approx. 3-4 hrs). Visit a spice plantation to see cardamom, pepper, and coffee plantations. Check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a boat safari on Periyar Lake, spotting elephants and wildlife. Optional activities: Kathakali dance show, elephant ride, or jeep safari. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

DAY 4

Day 4: Departure from Thekkady

After breakfast, drive back to Cochin for departure. If time permits, visit Lulu Mall or Fort Kochi before your flight/train.
