Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Welcome to Kenya!

DAY 2

Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu – Safari Begins
After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve (approximately 6-7 hours by road or a short flight). Arrive at your luxury lodge or tented camp and check-in. Enjoy a delicious lunch, followed by a relaxing afternoon at the lodge. In the evening, head out for your first game drive in the Samburu Reserve. Return to your lodge for dinner. DAY 3

Day 3-4: Exploring Samburu – Wildlife Adventure
Early morning game drive to explore Samburus diverse wildlife, including the Samburu Special Five. Spot Grevys zebras, Somali ostriches, gerenuks, Beisa oryx, and reticulated giraffes, all native to this region. After the morning game drive, enjoy a hearty breakfast and relax at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive or relax by the lodges pool. Samburu offers a mix of savannah and riverine ecosystems, perfect for spotting a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. DAY 4

Day 5: Cultural Experience – Visit a Samburu Village
After breakfast, head out for a half-day cultural visit to a traditional Samburu village. Learn about the Samburu tribe, their customs, dances, and unique way of life. In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely game drive or relax at the lodge. Visit the Ewaso Nyiro River, which runs through the reserve, to witness the interaction between the wildlife and the river ecosystem. Return to the lodge for dinner. Overnight stay in Samburu.
DAY 5

Day 6: Samburu to Mount Kenya – Scenic Views & Wildlife
After breakfast, check-out from your Samburu lodge and drive to Mount Kenya (approximately 4-5 hours). Check-in to your luxury lodge at the base of Mount Kenya and enjoy a breathtaking view of Africa second-highest peak. After lunch, head out for a game drive in Mount Kenya National Park, spotting buffaloes, elephants, and diverse bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy a relaxing evening by the campfire. Overnight stay at Mount Kenya.
DAY 6

Day 7: Mount Kenya to Nairobi – Departure
Enjoy an early morning game drive around Mount Kenya lower slopes, with the chance to spot wildlife in the mountainous terrain. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi (approximately 4-5 hours). On arrival, enjoy a farewell lunch and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
