Itinerary

DAY 1

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KOHIMA – TRANSFER TO TREK START POINT – TREK TO DZUKOU VALLEY

Arrive in Kohima.
Drive to Viswema village or Zakhama village, the starting point of the trek.
Begin the trek (approx. 4 to 5 hours) through forests and scenic trails.
Reach Dzukou Valley campsite by evening.
Set up camp, enjoy dinner, and relax under the starry sky.
Overnight stay in tents.

DAY 2

DAY 2: TREK FROM JAKHAMA TO DZUKOU VALLEY BASE CAMP

After breakfast, begin your trek from Jakhama. The initial trail is steep and challenging but offers rewarding views of forests and streams. Reach Dzukou Valley Base Camp after 4 to 5 hours of trekking. Set up camp and relax amidst nature. Enjoy a bonfire and dinner. Overnight stay in tents.

DAY 3

DAY 3: EXPLORE DZUKOU VALLEY – RETURN TO BASE CAMP

Wake up early to witness the stunning sunrise. After breakfast, trek deeper into Dzukou Valley. Explore the beautiful meadows, crystal-clear streams, and take in the sight of seasonal flowers, especially the rare Dzukou Lily (seasonal). Return to the base camp by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

DAY 4

DAY 4: DESCEND TO JAKHAMA – DEPARTURE FROM KOHIMA

After breakfast, trek back down to Jakhama village. Freshen up and drive back to Kohima. Proceed to Dimapur Airport Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of Dzukou Valley.
