Itinerary

DAY 1

Day 1: Arrival in Aizawl
  • Arrive at Lengpui Airport and transfer to the hotel.
  • Explore Aizawl with visits to Solomon’s Temple, Mizoram State Museum, and the bustling Ima Keithel (Mother Market).
  • Enjoy the sunset from Durtlang Hills, offering panoramic views of the city.
  • Overnight stay in Aizawl.
DAY 2

Day 2: Aizawl – Reiek Tlang Excursion
After breakfast, take a short drive to Reiek Tlang, a scenic heritage village offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Experience the Cheraw (Bamboo Dance) performed by local artists. Return to Aizawl and explore the Luangmual Handicrafts Centre for traditional Mizo bamboo products. Overnight stay in Aizawl.
DAY 3

Day 3: Aizawl to Tamdil Lake (85 km / 3 hrs)
Depart for Tamdil Lake, Mizorams largest lake, surrounded by dense forests and rolling hills. Enjoy boating, birdwatching, and nature walks around the lake. Visit nearby Vangtlang Village, where you can interact with the local Mizo tribes and learn about their traditions. Overnight stay in a guesthouse near Tamdil Lake.
DAY 4

Day 4: Tamdil Lake to Champhai (185 km / 6 hrs)
Drive to Champhai, a picturesque town near the Myanmar border, known for its lush rice fields and scenic landscapes. En route, visit Rih Dil, a stunning heart-shaped lake located just across the Myanmar border (no visa required for viewing). Explore Hnahlan Village, famous for Mizoram’s vineyards and wine production. Overnight stay in Champhai.
DAY 5

Day 5: Champhai – Tribal Villages & Cultural Experience
Visit Lianchhiari Lunglen Tlang, a beautiful cliff with a fascinating local love legend. Explore Murlen National Park, home to diverse flora, fauna, and dense forests. Interact with the Mara and Lai tribal communities, known for their distinct traditions and craftsmanship. Overnight stay in Champhai. After breakfast, transfer to Lengpui Airport for departure.
DAY 6

Day 6: Champhai to Aizawl (185 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, return to Aizawl. Stop at Khawbung Village, known for its rich cultural heritage. Free evening for leisure and shopping at Bara Bazar, Aizawl famous market. Overnight stay in Aizawl.
DAY 7

Day 7: Departure from Aizawl
After breakfast, transfer to Lengpui Airport for departure.
