Itinerary

DAY 1

Day 1: Arrival in Sankri (6,400 ft) – Trek Base Camp
  • Arrive at Dehradun early morning and drive to Sankri (approx. 8-10 hrs, 200 km).
  • Enjoy scenic views of Yamuna River, Tons Valley, and pine forests along the way.
  • Check-in at a guesthouse/homestay in Sankri.
  • Briefing session on trek preparation, safety measures, and itinerary.
  • Evening at leisure – explore Sankri village and local markets.
  • Overnight stay in Sankri.
DAY 2

Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (9,100 ft) – 4 km Trek
Breakfast at the homestay. Trek starts from Sankri, ascending through dense pine and maple forests. Reach Juda Ka Talab, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by tall trees. Enjoy a hot lunch at the campsite and explore the surroundings. Bonfire (weather permitting) and stargazing at the campsite. Overnight stay in tents at Juda Ka Talab.
DAY 3

Day 3: Juda Ka Talab to Bhoj Gadi (11,100 ft) – 5 km Trek
Early morning breakfast. Trek through lush meadows, rhododendron forests, and scenic trails. Arrive at Bhoj Gadi, a stunning open meadow campsite with mountain views. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset over the Himalayas. Hot dinner and overnight stay in tents under the starry sky.
DAY 4

Day 4: Bhoj Gadi to Phulara Ridge (12,100 ft) & Descend to Pushtara (10 km Trek)
Start early to catch the sunrise from the ridge. Walk along the Phulara Ridge, a rare Himalayan ridge trek offering 360° mountain views. Enjoy sweeping views of Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, and Kedarkantha peaks. Descend gradually to Pushtara Meadows, a picturesque open grassland. Overnight stay in tents at Pushtara.
DAY 5

Day 5: Pushtara to Sankri via Taluka – 9 km Trek
Breakfast at the campsite. Begin the descent through forests, meadows, and small streams. Arrive back in Sankri by afternoon and check in to a guesthouse/homestay. Rest and relax, explore Sankri village, or enjoy a celebratory dinner. Overnight stay in Sankri.
DAY 6

Day 6: Departure from Sankri to Dehradun
Early morning departure to Dehradun (approx. 8-10 hrs drive). Drop-off at Dehradun railway station/airport. Trip ends with unforgettable memories!
