DAY 2

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day guided tour of Istanbul including: Topkapi Palace, the former residence of Ottoman sultans. Hagia Sophia Museum, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque), famous for its blue tiles. Hippodrome Square. Lunch at a local restaurant. Optional: Turkish bath experience (additional cost). Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

DAY 3

Day 3: Istanbul - Cappadocia

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and transfer to Istanbul Airport for flight to Cappadocia. Arrival in Cappadocia. Transfer to the hotel. Visit to Goreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at a local restaurant. Explore Pasabag (Monks Valley) and Avanos. Optional: Hot air balloon ride during sunrise (additional cost and weather permitting). Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.

DAY 4

Day 4: Cappadocia - Istanbul

Early morning optional: Hot air balloon ride (if not done on previous day). Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Devrent Valley and Uchisar Castle. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to Kaymakli Underground City, one of Cappadocia many subterranean refuges. Transfer to Cappadocia Airport for flight back to Istanbul. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
